Every year, motan holds CleanUp Days around the world. Despite sometimes changeable weather conditions, dedicated colleagues set out to clear rubbish from the area around their site. Equipped with gloves, tongs and plenty of motivation, they collect cigarette butts, bottles, packaging and other rubbish that has been left behind in nature.
Taking responsibility together
We are grateful to be able to work in natural environments at various locations around the world. At the same time, we see this proximity as a special obligation: as a company in the plastics industry, we have a significant responsibility for our environment.
That is why our teams participate in local clean-up campaigns throughout the year – always with the aim of making our immediate environment cleaner, safer and more liveable.
Sustainable materials for sustainable action
For this year's campaign in Constance, for example, we deliberately used bin bags from WILDPLASTIC®. The company manufactures its products from collected plastic waste, thereby supporting both environmental and social causes. The use of these bags fits in perfectly with our efforts to promote the circular economy and integrate sustainable decisions into our everyday work.
We would like to thank all participants for their commitment and their demonstration of environmental awareness. Initiatives such as the motan CleanUp Days show how much we can achieve together and how deeply sustainable thinking and social responsibility are anchored in motan's corporate culture.
